Booking Request Form

The Micosay Dancers can be booked for a reasonable fee. This fee helps offset our many operating expenses and helps provide funding for new dances. A typical performance lasts approximately 30 minutes.

Our dance season runs from October 1 through the end of April. We begin accepting bookings for our dance season on September 1st of each year. All requests must be made four weeks in advance and are on a first-come, first-serve basis. We are unable to book performances during the summer months due to our involvement at the H. Roe Bartle Scout Reservation.

If you would like to request a booking for the months of October through April, you may do so by filling out the form below. To ensure prompt handling of your request, please include all requested information on the form to aid us as we process your request. The booking director will return your message to discuss the request. Requests are answered in the order in which they are received. Please be patient, it can take up to two weeks to reply.

Please include the name of your location (e.g. First Christian Church, Sunset Valley Elementary, Legacy Park, etc.) and a FULL STREET ADDRESS for the location of the performance so that we may find the location using GPS or on-line mapping services.

This section contains information about some of our booking policies. If you have further questions about any of the policies listed here or any other questions regarding this performance request, please discuss them with our Booking Director when contact is made. Most follow-ups will be made via e-mail contact. Please note that completion of this form is only a request - it is not a confirmation that your request has been accepted. The Booking Director will be in touch to confirm or deny your request.

Most requests are handled within 4 weeks. However, requests for Blue and Gold "season" - from mid-January thru mid-March may take longer to process as we attempt to accommodate as many requests as possible.

The Micosay Dancers charge a $125 fee for each performance. Unless prior arrangements are made with the Booking Director, payment is due when we arrive on the confirmed performance date. Requests for delayed payment or fee waiver must be approved by the Booking Director 4 weeks prior to the performance.

In order to comply with Youth Protection, we require a changing room for adults and a separate room for youth. We request that rooms to be made available for us to change into our Dance attire. We bring a lot of gear with us and appreciate a room that can handle lots of gear and people. 

We will need a minimum of 3 rooms, but 4 is preferrable.

Most of the attire for our dances is hand made of authentic materials. We must take care of our gear and protect it from inclement weather. If your performance is at an outdoor location, rain, snow or extreme cold may result in a cancellation of the performance if there is not a suitable indoor back-up location. Additionally, during the winter months, snow or ice that result in treacherous road conditions may also lead to cancellation of our performance. Our Booking Director will contact you at the phone number you provided if a weather event should cause a cancellation. Every attempt will be made to re-schedule your performance and no fee is charged if the performance is canceled.

We welcome you and guests to take photographs during the performance. However, we respectfully request that you DO NOT tag the Micosay Dancers, Tribe of Micosay, Heart of America Council or the H. Roe Bartle Scout Reservation in any Social Media post.
